Welcome back to another week of learning and fun.
AM students started their day with a variety of math games to strengthen their subitizing skills.
Donations for our veterans food drive are starting to roll in.
Kindergarten enjoyed a new sign in activity today: Today I feel happy / Today I feel sad.
After recognizing and reading their own first name, students considered how they were feeling. Self awareness, recognizing ones own emotions, and social awareness, recognizing and understanding the emotions of others are important social-emotional skills.
After some finishing touches, our Veterans Food Drive posters are ready to be displayed. Thank you Ms. Reid for helping poster teams find just the right place to hang their posters and spread their message to the students and staff of New Brighton School. A big thank you to Mrs. Hellyer for putting together this collaborative kindergarten video which will be shared throughout the school.

| Congratulations to Scarlett our PM Rock Star of the day. Scarlett brought in two very special friends to share with her classmates. Some of Scarlett's favourite activities include "playing with them and jumping on the trampoline with them". Scarlett received many complements and answered many eager questions. Great job! Thank you Scarlett for sharing something special with PM kindergarten. |

Please check backpacks for your copy of the November/December Rock Star schedule. Please work with your child to complete the attached "quilt" template and send it to school with your child on their assigned day. Students will present their piece of the classroom quilt on their special day. Thank you so much.
