Thank you to Katerina for brining in a special book to share with AM kindergarten. Students enjoyed listening to the story and sharing their ideas. Feeling inspired by the lovely illustrations, students painted a page in their visual journal to represent a snowy background with hints of blue, purple, red and more. Tomorrow, we will add our own adventurous snowmen to the scene.

Congratulation to our AM Rock Star Julian. Julian shared his Canadian flag and that he speaks English at home with his family.  He was named after his Papa, how special. He is getting very exciting to celebrate his favourite family tradition, Christmas.  Julian like to open presents on Christmas morning and he is really good at family snow ball fights. Last year he was the declared winner with 5 snowball hits ... to the jacket:)

Thank you to today's PM Rock Star Xavier. Xavier shared some very exciting news with the class!  He is a big brother as his family welcomes the birth of a new baby boy.  Congratulations to Xavier and his family we wish you all the best during this very happy time.

Xavier did all the Rock Star jobs including putting out all the paints and books for his classmates, such a big help!  Xavier was born in El Salvador and he speaks English and Spanish at home.  Thank you for teaching us the Spanish word for hello! Xavier and his family love to enjoy family vacations together. Xavier drew a lovely picture of tree, water and sun .... looks like the perfect vacation spot to me.

Thank you to Jace for sharing your piece of our classroom quilt.  Jace was born in Canada and he speaks English at home.  He  name is from a movie and a Great Uncle.  Jace shared his interest in trucks and how he enjoys fixing trucks with his Dad.  He also loves cooking and can't wait for Christmas!
