Fall Leaves and Patterns

Congratulations to today's Rockstars: Katerina (AM) and Emalyn (PM). 

 Katerina shared one of her favourite activities with AM Kindergarten, "riding my bike on the street".  Katerina also brought a special stuffed friend to share, "Sophie sometimes gets to ride along in my basket". Thank you Katerina for answering many eager questions and for sharing something special about yourself with your friends.

Emalyn brought in a special stuffed friend to share with her classmates. Using the document camera and sitting in the teacher chair is a fun treat on Rockstar Day. Thank you Emalyn for sharing your special stuffy with your classmates and for answering many questions.

Student continue to explore with pattern.  Today, students worked with fall leaves to create a variety of interesting patterns. 

AM Pattern Work

Students had an opportunity to share their patterns with their classmates using the document camera. Students enjoy joining in and extending patterns verbally.

With the chilly weather comes a lot of extra layers. Please ensure all items are labelled with your child's name as our coat hook area gets very full. Keep working on those tricky zippers and inside out sleeves at home, to build your child's independence and confidence in self dressing at school.
