Thursday Nov. 21st

Students started their day greeting friends and admiring some very cool t-shirts and jerseys.
Reading letters and numbers on jerseys was lots of fun.

Table Time:
Number line challenge continues as students work on number sequencing and representing numbers using a variety of loose parts in sequence.

Our Learning Job:  Comparing Length
Find 2 things shorter than a pencil and 2 things longer than a pencil
How do you know?

Congratulations to AM Rock Star Kash.  Thank you for sharing all the things that make your family special and unique.  Kash created his own unique family flag with "Oil and Trees" on it "Because Papa uses a John Deer Tractor to clear the trees".  Kash shared that he was also born in"Oh Cananda" :)
Kash received many complements on his piece of our classroom quilt and answered many questions.
Great job Rock Star Kash

Donations for New Brighton's Warm Feet for the Street have started to roll in.  Thank you to the Grade 3 students who came to our room today to tell kindergarten all about this special event and what types of donations are suitable.

Thank you Rock Star Emalyn for sharing all about your special and unique family.  Emalyn is looking forward to her family tradition of Elf on the Shelf which will be happening pretty soon!
Great job!
