Friday January 16th

This icy cold weather did not stop PM kindergarten from their day of learning. PM friends settled into their day with cozy PJs and some stuffed friends.

Assorted literacy and numeracy table time activities was a gentle start to the day.

It was definitely to cold to visit our Kindergarten Tree in person.  Students enjoyed looking out of the window and sharing ideas about what trees look like in the winter.  Students started their winter tree art by painting a wash of blue over white paper.  Students had fun trying a new blown paint technique today to create the bare branches of their tree. White painted details, using a Q-tip, worked well to create a snowy winter day. Great job kindergarten!

Learning Job #2:
Print-Formation for the Letter Bb.  Ask your child what their action and sound for the letter /Bb/ is.  Have fun sounding out words that start with the letter Bb at home with your child.

PM kindergarten enjoyed a trip to the library so be sure to check your child's backpack for a couple of new books to snuggle up with this weekend.

Stay warm and enjoy!

Kind regards,

Mrs. Dennis
