Thank you PM Rock Star Emalyn for introducing and reading many pages from her fun book, The Wonky Donkey!
Great job.
Learning Jobs: I can compare objects based on the attribute of weight

Today in Math, students considered objects in our world that are heavy and objects that are light.  Students enjoyed a digital demonstration of a scale weighing a variety of objects.  When the scale drops down the object is heavy.  Students drew a picture on the scale provided to represent objects heavier or lighter than themselves.

An elephant is heavier than me!

A backpack is lighter than me!

Parent Reminders:

- Friday January 24th - AM kindergarten attends (no school for PM kindergarten). We are planning a wonder walk around the school grounds if the weather co-operates.  Please plan for an extended outdoor recess on this day.

*** we are still in need of lots of shoeboxes should any become available in your household please send them to school with your child.
