| Ayan shared that he is part of the Muslim community and showed his classmates a picture of a beautiful Mosque, inside and out. Ayan visits the Mosque with his family to celebrate his faith and to pray. Ayan received many complements on his lovely clothing and beautiful pictures. One peer commented that the Mosque "looked warm and cozy inside". It certainly looks like a beautiful and special place. |

| Aakbar was excited to be the Rock Star of the day. The date came as a surprise for Akbar but he took the opportunity to stand up and talk about the community he belongs too. Akbar said "The group I belong to and love is New Brighton PM kindergarten" Akbar shared that he is Muslim and part of the Muslim community. He also enjoys going to his local YMCA where he enjoys playing basketball and swimming with his family. Great job Akbar! |
Our learning job today was the number 7 and its number pairs for AM kindergarten and the numbers 6 and 7 for PM kindergarten.
AM/PM classes started work on their forest habitat dioramas today. Student choose a shoe box and painted background colours. This is a fun project but things can get a little messy! Please note that we will be painting and gluing and working on this habitat project over the next week.
