AM Rock Star

Congratulations to AM Rock Star Katerina.  Katerina belongs to many groups in her community.  She plays soccer and enjoys three different types of dance including Tap, Ballet and Acro.  Acro is her favourite because it is fast.  Katernina is a also a member of her local YMCA and she brought her membership card to share, with a very cute picture!. Katerina received many complements on her special pictures and the special uniforms she wears for each group / activity.  How fun to belong to a variety of active groups.

PM Rock Star

Congratulations to PM Rock Star Emalyn.  Emalyn belongs to a beading group, how creative!  Thank you Emalyn for bringing in some beads and an example of your fabulous beading work.  Emalyn enjoys making beaded key chains for her friends.  Great job Emalyn.

Students continue to compare quantities by exploring the concept of more and less.  After a brief instructional video and some discussion to reinforce more and less vocabulary students were ready to help Cookie Monster solve a problem

Cookie Monster loves cookies but he has a problem!  He can only eat cookies that have more than 5 chocolate chips.  Can you draw cookies that have less that 5 chocolate chips and cookies that have more than 5 chocolate chips.  Explain your answer
