Healthy food is one of our basic needs.  Not having enough food to eat is a problem?  How could you help someone who does not have enough food to eat?

AM reflections:

Maguire: I would give someone my food
Kaydan: I would share my own snacks
Jax: I could give almost all of my own food away.
Sarim: I could pick apples from a tree for a hungry friend
Isla: You could give people food from a tree.
Julian: You could help by sharing.
Aya: I would pick food from trees to give to others.

PM reflections: What does it feel like to be hungry or not have enough food to eat?

Boston:  you could die
Emalyn:  you could get sick and hurt
Maisie:  you would need water and food
Brielle:  I would feel sick
Hassen:  I would eat cereal if I was hungery. (what if there wasn't any?). It would hurt
Jace:  you would die and you won't have enough to eat.

How could you help someone who does not have enough food to eat?

Brielle: You might want to give whoever didn't have enough food some food. Maybe you could ask them do you want some food and then we will give them some from your house.
Emily:  When someone needs some food you can get food and feed the people and give them some from my house.
Seth: I would share my food, if they came to my house from the fridge or cupboard
Caydence - If Gwyneth had no food I would have her come to my house and I would give her food.

Congratulations to the Rock Stars of the day:  Kaydan AM kindergarten and Xavier PM kindergarten

Kaydan shared one of his favourite activities with his AM friends, "playing with my storm troper mask".  Kaydan gave his friends a super cool demonstration of his fun mask with its cool voice changer. Kaydan likes to wear his mask, " at home, not at the grocery store where he might scare someone".  Lots of compliments and questions for rock star Kaydan!

Xavier shared some of his favourite activities, " I like to ride my bike and jump on my trampoline".  Xavier shared that he can ride "super fast" and jump "super high". Xavier brought his very cool rad- robot to share with his PM friends.  Thank you Xavier, for a fun demonstration of your remote control robot!  Very exciting.  Great job rock star Xavier.

Thank you Poppy for sharing your special stuffed bear with your AM friends.  How special!
