Amazing Rock Stars

AM: Kaydan

Kaydan and his family are season ticket holders for the Calgary Hitmen.  Kaydan told his classmates all about the Hitmen, including his favourite players #19 and #10.  He likes to eat treats at the hockey game including hotdogs, ice-cream and popcorn.  We heard that the Hitmen have been on a losing streak but Kaydan is sure they will win again soon.

PM: Landon

Congratulations Rock Star Landon on your awesome soccer medal!  Landon belongs to the Timbit soccer team and loves playing outdoor soccer.  He can run super fast and even scores goals.  

Our Learning Job:  Writing
Kindergarten is working very hard on their animal investigations information booklets.  Today students completed a familiar task labelling their animals features.  They also reviewed the types of food their animals likes to eat. Drawing pictures, labeling drawing and trying to print a letter for every sound they hear working towards words and multiple word sentences. 
Great job kindergarten.

This group of kindergarten students love to write letters, make cards and deliver their mail to special people in the school. Today we set up some mail boxes in our classroom and talked about how to make our mail even more special.  Making sure we address each piece of mail with
To: _________ and From: ____________ labels, special messages and WoW pictures is a great start.

Parent Reminders:  This Friday, March 13th AM kindergarten attends, no school for PM kindergarten.
